  Alice Barber, 1899-1983 I only meet Alice when I was very young; it was on one of the visits to Barrow, Suffolk with my Nan Edith and granddad George Barber. I don’t remember much about her, but my mom told me she was a proper lady, very smart with long flame red hair and spoke in a very soft voice. Alice was so mom tells me a very attractive young woman and most of the young men in the village would make a beeline for her at the local village dance. Alice Talbot (nee Barber) born 1899, married Victor Talbot 1927, Victor died in 1983.
